I’m not sure where to begin

But,

I’m very sure that it has begun

Today,

Something new was born

Something that lay there

Dormant within me

Struggling to see the light of day

Today,

I finally let it come out to play

I’m not sure how it all started

Or why it all came to be

But,

I’m very sure that whenever it was

It all came forth from inside of me

Was I born again?

Or

Did I give birth?

To something new,

To someone who

Lived always inside

Of me?

Am I new?

Or

Is something new about me?

What is it?

Where did it come from?

Who cares?

All I need to know is that

It is. I am.  We are.

Today.
