Life is getting better now

I am happy

I am peaceful

I am free

It is still a hefty ride

And there is still a long way to go

But I am ready now

I am ready for anything

For everything

I am not afraid anymore

I do not feel that I am alone

I am not lonely

My future

Is in the palm of my hands

My hands are clenched tightly together

And my arms are laid securely on my chest

And I can feel my heart beating

Steadily

Peacefully

I feel my life

I have got a grip on everything now

It has been a long journey

And there is a lot more to go

But, it is okay, I am okay

I am ready to go on

Because, I know that

Now, life is better getting
