He leaves me no choice
He gives me no choice
He takes away my right
To make my own choice
He chooses for me
He made his own choice
And thus I cannot over-rule
In this matter
He makes it as if it’s only his life
He forgets that it’s my life too
He declares theses things
And puts his left foot down
Well, what about me
Why couldn’t I put my right foot down?
He forgets that I’m standing here
He forsakes my own good will
He leaves me nothing to cling to
So firm in his word
He pulls away, with everything
He walks away
And dares not to look back
He runs away
With eyes filled with tears
He turns away
As if it doesn’t even matter that
He’s breaking his own heart
