104
You ran away from me yesterday
And left me to face this hostile world
All alone, and in despair
You ran out on me
And left me to stand
Alone

You strip the strength away
From my rigid bones
Without you, I feel
Hopelessly,
Helplessly,
Weak

You told me now to cry
As if you expect me to be brave
But, my bravery lies in your arms
My great lion, my statuesque soldier
Without you, I am but a butterfly
With no rose to cling to

You were my source of life
My fountain of youth
And, in you I found lost hope
You became my inspiration
And, my faith lived with you

You, now you are gone
So far away that,
I can’t even smell
The rouge of your musk

You, make me sick, now
Everything aches
My heart, my back, my stomach
You, make me weak, now
